Rata dental aligners are stored in a generic OEM case which is both bulky and lacking in brand identity. Since many customers carry this case in their pocket while out and about, the form needed to be far slimmer and smoother.

Rata aligners come in a variety of shapes so our team performed a great deal of testing, analysis and improvement to reduce the size as much as possible. We explored 5 key directions with user testing leading to a final decision. The final case was 32% smaller and featured Rata’s iconic smile motif on the side.
