We have almost 20 years of experience in product design, of which 10 years are in China. The focus of our product design experience lies in creating products with innovation.
Also we are good in creating consistent product lines. That means we help the brand to create products that are a matching family. Often companies end up with products with many different styles. That way the client does not understand anymore what the brand stands for.
Our approach is to create a brand identity in both the company and the products.
The product is actually more than just the object.
All experiences around the product should reflect the brand identity: Like packaging, manuals, accessories, sales experience, retail or e-commerce experience.
Why new products (NPD)
In a survey of 700 firms (60% industrial, 20% consumer durables, and 20% consumer nondurables) of Booz, Allen and Hamilton (1982) who found that over a five-year period new products accounted for 28% of these companies’ growth.
Hultink and Robben (1995) reported that new products introduced in the last five years generated 41% of company’s sales and 39% of company’s profits. Besides these benefits, NPD offers other benefits like the positive impact on company image, the opening up of new markets and the provision of a platform for further new products (Storey and Easingwood, 1999).
